Powers: Flight -- directional dependent upon angle of his hands. Other powers assumed
to be based upon strength and energy projection. His suit is not the source of his power.
Motivation: Death Grip wanted revenge against Lancing Bank, in an attempt to settle
a score he has with the Lansing families over allegations Matthew Lansing framed him for theft
in college, resulting in his expulsion. It is thought that Lansing Corporation and its
subsidiaries may not always act in a legal fashion. The team is investigating.
Update: After being caught at a showdown at the bank, Nathan Williams, aka Death Grip,
faced a sympathetic judge who, decided Nathan was not a hardened criminal, granted him parole.
Contingent upon that was that Nathan agree to do "community service" with the world's first
superheroic team, the local group now known as the Watch. Nathan adopted a new super-name and
has joined the Watch as Phantom Fist.
Update: During an attempt to stop the villain team known as
The Hazards Nathan, then known as the hero Phantom
Fist, was killed.
